Yash Metals (formerly known as Yash Pigments) approached Ideal Designs with a challenge: create a visual identity that honoured their history while signalling a bright, industrial future. Our team accepted the challenge by thinking of a logo that features a Y shape.
Inside this “Y” is a flame. This “diya” serves as a powerful metaphor for light, innovation, and the molten heat essential to the metallurgical process, bridging the gap between heavy industry and the guiding warmth of a flame.
The process of arriving at the end result was proof of our team’s perseverance and commitment to perfection. Instead of treating each revision as an obstacle, they viewed it as an opportunity to refine the “Y” shape and the flame. Through close consideration of the client’s comments and careful adjustment of the lines and weights according to their tastes, the design team developed a unified mark.
The outcome is an excellently crafted and highly significant logo that has been given the entire approval of the Yash Metals team. Not only have we presented the team with an image, but we have managed to develop a full-fledged brand identity for them that will be used throughout all their professional stationery, from their business cards and their letterheads.
